'Green Hanukkia'??

I rarely surprised by what the "green" movement comes up with.  However, I must admit I was taken by the recently  announced campaign to encourage "Jews around the world to light at least one less candle this Hanukkah to help save the environment".  It seems that someone did the math, and figured out exactly how much damage is done to the atmosphere because of Jewish candles.

Unbelievable.

The full, comical story, written by Gil Hoffman, can be found on the Online Jerusalem Post website by clicking here.

How far will these people go?  Environmentalism has become a religion of its own, and it has many worshippers.  While there certainly is nothing wrong with trying to keep our planet clean, extremism in anything is idolatry and is sinful.
