without asking permission, provided that the translation is as accurate as possible to the

The distribution of God's truth should not be restricted by copyright..

I will look on you favourably... (Lev 26:3,9).

But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments...

I also will do this to you; I will even appoint terror over you... (Lev 26:14,16).

Besides that, God struck another offender’s animals dead by lightning at midnight. He also destroyed by hailstorm at midnight the newly-planted crops of an SDA pastor. He did this to emphasise that these men are in gross sin, and should repent, turning away from their evildoing and idolatry.

Since they refuse, God judges according to His Word:

You shall not bow down to them [false gods] nor serve them. For I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting [punishing] the iniquity... but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments (Ex 20:5,6.)

God judged the evildoers, but conversely He blessed and delivered the faithful ones by a sign at midnight.

God moves on earth to bring deliverance and truth to those who humble themselves to accept it. But He also judges oppressors who stand in the way of His Work of restoring Truth. These are the days of Elijah!

Alex Odhiambo relates:

From Homa Bay town to Kotieno is 10 km. There, 4 km from the tarmac road, you come to the home of witchdoctor Simon Osumba, 60, nicknamed ‘Osama Gin’.

He has been practicing all sorts of enchantment and sorcery. He was using demonic power to cause accidents and curses to come on some unfortunate people, to secure jobs for others, prevent rain falling, using charms to enable barren women to have miraculous pregnancies, and helping government officials get promotion.

When I was locked up in the prison, God spoke to me, telling me to CAST OUT DEMONS. I saw a picture in my eyesight. These words were written: “COME OUT! COME OUT! BAPTIZE! AND HEAL!” At the same time, Polycarp was also being disturbed by the same vision.

Here, places that are too far to walk, but up to 60 km, we reach by bicycle. I have one bicycle that we share in our outreach as transport.

On 4th May 2007, Polycarp took a ride to that area. He had been invited to a special fellowship. The topic of discussion was The Faith Once Delivered To The Saints and Faith And Healing. The discussion went smoothly and the brethren requested booklets which we have already sent to them.

God began to perform a miracle here. As Polycarp was riding, he was not able to explain what happened next. [A miracle is humanly inexplicable, so we can’t explain it by logic or normal reasoning.] He stopped for a while. Looking at the back of the bicycle he noticed that one of the publications was missing from the polythene bag. Faith and Healing was no longer there. It had vanished! The Bible was still there and the Why? booklets, but Faith and Healing was nowhere to be seen. There was no tear in the bag, and no indication of how it might have disappeared. It forced Polycarp to ride back, looking for the book, since we only have one in the Library.

Surprisingly he found the book. It had dropped on the ground at the gate of Mr Osumba with the help of an Unseen Hand.

At that moment, Polycarp noticed Osumba walking around his compound towards the gate. Mr Osumba saw something glittering or shining very brightly. As he got closer, he could see that the book was burning but not being consumed [like the Burning Bush in Exodus 3:2 which Moses saw]. He thought that this was some sort of witchcraft being practiced. But the book was Faith and Healing written by MM and inspired by God.

The pastor who was giving the sermon chased Osumba away because of his demons. [Mr Osumba narrated this information.] As Osumba was running Polycarp got hold of him. They were trying to wrestle each other, but Mr Osumba found himself down at the feet of Polycarp. [He was slain by the Spirit, brought to his knees by the power of God.] Polycarp prayed for him on the spot, with tears, and he cast the demons out of Osumba.

While Polycarp was doing that, this scene of commotion drew the attention of the congregation at the church until the sermon ended. [I’m not surprised. SDA sermons are pretty boring and lacking the Spirit! It’s good to have some real spiritual activity taking place for a change! That sort of thing is not seen in SDA circles. It’s about time it was!]

After Polycarp prayed, Osumba refused to go back home. [God was strongly moving him NOT to go home, because it was haunted with demons which would still be there as long as all the fetishes and other occult trappings remained. Demons use the physical things associated with witchcraft as their means of entry and control of the people who possess them. That’s why such items have to be destroyed by fire.] So Mr Osumba accompanied Polycarp back to Homa Bay. They came together to my house and I welcomed them. We discussed for a short while some of the things in The Mystery of the Invisible and eventually went to sleep.

At exactly midnight on 6th May 2007 the whole of our house was shaken tremendously. We all woke up, even the children. Then we heard a voice within the sitting room commanding: “GO AND BURN ALL THE DEMON TOOLS.” Both of us [Polycarp and Alex] heard that voice only once. So, when Sunday morning came, of 6th May, my wife Dorothy told us that God has spoken to her that we should go and collect all items connected to witchcraft in the home of Osumba and that we should burn them to ash. We went to his home, as commissioned by God. The man removed a pot from the gate which had different heads of birds in it. At the centre of the compound he dug out a torn Holy Bible wrapped in the skin of a cow. Mr Osumba gathered up very many items and we burned them all to ash.

Mr Osumba confided to us about some of the many prominent people whom he had ‘helped’ with the magic power of his witchcraft. He mentioned names like Zablon Onkundi Ombori (a pastor who is supposed to be a minister of Jesus Christ!), a Catholic priest, Pastor John, even my father’s name was also mentioned as the co-ordinator in magic power! [No wonder he came under the hammer of God’s judgement! An SDA member involved in black magic! It would shock many SDA folks if they could SEE the demons behind their church leaders!]

Our last words to Osumba were “REPENT FULLY OR PERISH!” I told him that the warnings in the Word of God are very plain. Our nation today stands before the Judgement throne of God. He is angry with our conduct, furious at our wickedness, very displeased with our attitudes and actions. God commands us to repent of our sins and turn to Him in humility and contrition for our sins.

After this wonderful scene we baptised Osumba on 8th May and now he is one of the brethren. The problem he has is illiteracy. He can’t read or write. He never attempted to go to school. He was brought up a witchdoctor by his grandfather since his father died while Osumba was only 7 years old. He does not have a wife any more, nor children. All his eight children died at the age of 18, and his wife died at 40. [What a cursed life! How sad.] He just wishes he could read and write.

Osumba is one of the victims of the day of midnight terror. [The fierce hailstorm at midnight.] His house was torn in two. The grass on the roof was blown away by wind. [Polycarp and Alex helped him repair his home and put some roofing on it. While they did so, SDA ministers came along, taunting and insulting them!]

On the day when we went to help Osumba in repairing his house, we met an SDA pastor and a deacon of the Roman Catholic Church. Osumba disclosed to us details about their character. I stopped them, after which I warned them with the above statement about repenting. But instead of heeding, all they did was to abuse me as a [vile word deleted – it meant being the worst type of rapist], stupid, false evangelist, that I am uneducated, ignorant, and haven’t gone anywhere for further education. But I told them that salvation does not come to the most learned people.

After several hours they came back again to the fence of Osumba, warning us, and shouting that if we don’t limit our talks, then we shall find ourselves at the bottom of Lake Victoria. [Death threats, lies, and foul and abusive language identify these men as charlatans in the grip of Satan!]

Polycarp said to them: “Please, are you ready to repent, and to confess your sins and change your life? Salvation is available! But you must seize it firmly! Without delay!” [But, of course, evil men will not heed; the unrepentant are destined for hell!]

More and more as we approach the end of this age we see God manifest His power through the Holy Spirit. So these are vital examples of end-time prophecies being fulfilled [Joel 2:28-30]. This is a time to take careful examination of all that you have written by God’s direction. And it is a time for everyone to stop fooling around, frittering away our spiritual opportunities, and to believe in truth.

I forgot to mention about my father. You sent to him two letters. There was no response at all. He ignored everything. Instead, he is still contacting the evil spirit over the wrath of God, which took place on 1st May at midnight. Now he is going to face God’s judgement.

This morning as I was going to the post, my younger brother came with news from home concerning my father’s health. Tuesday morning, when he went to plough with bulls, he was the one holding a plough and my two younger brothers were controlling the bulls, one on each side. After going for 7 trips, one of the bulls decided to go on strike. It lay down. My brothers whipped the bull, but it refused to get up. So, my father took one of the whips. Just as he raised up his arm to whip the bull, the animal suddenly got up and trod on one of my father’s feet.

Now he has a wound on that foot and his leg has swollen from his toes all the way up to his thigh. Yet, they were going to Osumba, the former witchdoctor, who used occult charms to ‘protect them from harm’. [Some protection! There is only one protection from the wrath of God. That is repentance, and turning away from doing evil to doing good.]

Osumba told me that he [Alex’s father] even went to him asking him to curse me so that I would have an accident on my bicycle. Since I am under the living God, all these malicious wishes return to torment the one who sends them.  Alex [End of his account.  Alex's father has since died.]

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you [Jesus] is greater than he who is in the world [Satan] (1 Jn 4:4).

They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error (1 Jn 4:5,6).

God is good to those who love Him. But He is a terror to those who hate Him.

Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known [to you] (2 Cor 5:9-11).
