N.B Scripture teaches the importance of New Moon festivals. Although not holy days

(except the 7th), the New Moons mark the beginning of months in God's calendar, and the

first New Moon in spring determines the positioning of God's spring festivals, while the

seventh New Moon establishes dates for the autumn festivals.
